That'll teach me to leave the sound on on my pc while asleep. I was dreaming that I was in the classroom of one of those uniquely profound professors. He was writing some life principals that you know are going to be remembered for life. Well I was awakened by an IM while he was on principal # 4. And it's the only one that I remembered from the dream!
#4: Think of your students as your children and you won't do or say anything harmful to you or them in the classroom. I think I paraphrased the anonymous professor. But I guess I inadvertently picked up another life lesson. Turn off the #$*@ electronics when you're supposed to be asleep. I promise you 1 -3 were really deep. But they're lost with all of those other things heard in a dream and blended into the abyss.

Once again SEPTA, Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority is threatening a strike. Mind you that I think the majority of large companies are pimps. So workers fighting back is not really my beef. The problem is that SEPTA's workers don't give a good crap about how badly they inconvenience riders, not their management. This comes at a time when weather conditions are deteriorating. Conveniently this latest threat is being waived at riders during unprecedented circumstances. The Philadelphia Phillies are in the World Series. The World Series in Philadelphia without public transportation would make the city a national spectacle, a title which it deserves for putting up with SEPTA's shit for so many years! SEPTA's union has used the riders as bargaining chips or hostages periodically with impunity. Unless the riders are loving this being SEPTA's hoe thing, then they need to take this rare opportunity to throw it back at SEPTA. At at time when lots of us are suffering due to a poor economy, this organization, like a whiny spoiled brat, wants to be an exception.
