I'm really starting to wonder though, if none of the people we are attracted to is the right one. Do you suppose there's some undiscovered law that guarantees that those you are attracted to will be a mismatch, if not immediately, then eventually? Maybe we should pursue those we're not attracted to? Really starting to wonder.

I wonder the same thing man. I think even with the ones we're not immediately attracted to we have to look at closely too.
lawd knows if people could force themselves to be attracted to someone everyone would be in a relationship!
it's just hard to figure out who is good for us or not...
Attachment to the drugs secreted by your hypothalmus is the reason we keep attracting the same type of person. When you can break the cycle of your need for that emotion, be sadness or pain or drama or... or... or... you will be free.
We have so many emotional addictions that we have to feed, we don't even realize they are addictions. Look around, everyone has one of those friends that is always saying, "oh poor me." Every bad thing that can happen does to this person, because they have a need to get that fix.
They need that very real drug secreted into their body so that they get that "high." You and I are no different.
You should check out the movie, "What the Bleep Do We Know," if I'm not explaining it correctly. But don't doubt for a second that we keep chosing the wrong person on purpose so that we can get our fix.
Once you identify what your "jones" is, then and only then can you enter into a relationship w/ your heart.
